The Umpqua RiverHawk men's basketball team used a 14-10 advantage in overtime to pull away from the Lakers of Southwestern Oregon Community College and claimed a 99-95 Southern Region victory.
It was a back and forth battle from the beginning to the end and the game wasn't decided until Marcus Draney hit two free-throws with .1 of a second remaining in the game.
Conner Shaw led the RiverHawks with 26 points and dished out 5 assists. Eric Klekas finished with 19 points, Ethan Betts with 17 and Jordan Lehr collected 17.
With the win, the RiverHawks move to 3-1 in Southern Region play and 12-5 overall.
