The RiverHawk Men's basketball team couldn't capitalize on a stifling first-half defensive performance, as they dropped a home contest to the Cougars of Clackamas Community College, 82-72. The RiverHawks held the Cougars to just 23 points in the first half, but couldn't continue the defensive performance in the second half.
The RiverHawks were led in scoring by Eric Klekas with 21 points. With the loss, Umpqua drops to 16-11 on the season.
