The Umpqua Community College Men's Basketball team is excited to announce the signing of 6'8 Forward Jake Sutton from Herriman, Utah. Jake was a standout player at Herriman High School where he graduated in 2016. Coach Leeworthy had this to say about Sutton, "Jake is a tremendous student athlete. On the court he runs like a deer, has great hands, and feet, versatile, and is very skilled. He's an athletic forward who is unselfish, and plays hard. Jake will be a great addition to the team and college."
Jake is currently serving an LDS Mission in New Mexico and will return in the summer.
The RiverHawk Men have now signed 6 student athletes in the 2018 recruiting class: - Cameron Benzel, Brock Gilbert, Kolten Mortensen, Tucker Peterson, Tyler Marz, and Jake Sutton.
