The Umpqua Community College Men's Basketball program is excited to announce the signings of Pacific High School (Langlois, Oregon) teammates and All-State performers John Morrill-Keeler and Jack Lehnherr. Morrill-Keeler, a 6'9" center, was named Co-Player of the Year for the OSAA 1A classification, while Lehnherr, a 6'3" forward, was named to the 2nd Team All-State. The Pacific High School Pirates won the 2018 OSAA 1A State Championship.
Head Coach Daniel Leeworthy had this to say about the signings, "John is a skilled big man who has all the tools to be a dominate player in college basketball. He is light on his feet, and has a soft touch on his outside shot. Lehnherr is a hard-nosed, hard-working player that brings a ton of energy. Both of them fit our team's culture, and both are willing to work hard and put the team first. I couldn't be more excited about them signing today."
