UCC Men's Basketball Sophomore's Ethan Betts and Jordan Lehrer signed their National Letters of Intent on Tuesday. Betts signed with NCAA Division II Adams State University (Colorado), while Jordan Lehrer signed with NCAA Division II Montana State – Billings. Betts, a two-year team captain and starter, averaged 17.4 points, and 5.6 assists this past season. While Lehrer averaged 7.3 points and 5 rebounds per contest.
"Ethan and Jordan were fantastic during their time here at UCC. They embraced the community and campus and grew as young men on and off the court. I couldn't be more proud of them as they chase their educational and athletic dreams. No doubt that they will be very successful in life."
Both student athletes were integral in the Southern Region Championship and Final Four run during the 2016-2017 season. They will each graduate this spring with a 3.2 gpa or higher.
