Umpqua Community College Men’s Basketball is excited to announce the addition of Cody Gray, from Myrtle Creek, Oregon. Gray is 2017 graduate of South Umpqua High School, where he was a three sport athlete for the Lancers.

Gray averaged 16 points per game his senior year and was named to the 1st Team All-Conference squad, as well as being named 3rd team All-State. Gray was also awarded the News’s Review’s Male Athlete of the year for 2016-17.

Head RiverHawk Men’s Basketball Coach Daniel Leeworthy had this to say about the signing of Gray,” Cody is a good local player that will play hard and do anything asked of him.  He has a college ready body and is a versatile wing that should develop as time goes on.  In addition to his basketball achievements he is an outstanding student”
