Playing 3 games in 4 days, against top-level NJCAA opponents, the Umpqua Community College Men's basketball team returned home from Utah with a 1-2 record.
The trip began with a 98-78 loss to Snow College. The RiverHawks dug a hole early, trailing 56-34 at the break and never recovered.
Game 3@ saw the RiverHawks drop a 102-86 decision to the #8 ranked Salt Lake City Community College. UCC cut the lead to 7 on two occasions, late in the 2nd half, but couldn't get over the hump. Erik Klekas led the team in scoring with 27 points, followed by Conner Shaw and John Morrill-Keeler with 19.
Game number 3 ended in a 105-66 rout of Rexburg United.
The RiverHawks return home to play the University of Oregon Club team on Friday, November 30th, at 7:00pm.
