The Umpqua Community College Men's basketball team struggled on the road at the Dale Bates Classic as they went 0-3 on the weekend.
The weekend started out with a 94-89 loss to Spokane College. Eric Klekas led the way in scoring with 34 points followed by a double/double by Kolten Mortenson with 13 points and 10 rebounds.
Game #2 was a 93-83 loss to South Puget Sound College. The RiverHawks were led by John Morrill-Keeler with 19 points, followed by Klekas with 18 and Connor Shaw with 17 points.
The final game was a 79-73 loss to the Tacoma Titans. Shaw was tops for the RiverHawks with 19 points, followed by Klekas with 17 and Morrill-Keeler with 15.
