The Umpqua Community College Obstacle Course Racing team opened up their 2018-19 season in strong fashion with their showing at the Storm the Castle event in Salem, Oregon.
The duo of RiverHawk freshman Riley Westbrooks and Kyle Hansen finished the race in the 2nd overall position, followed closely by the sophomore pairing of Robbie Yard and Garrison Leif in the 3rd spot. The entire roster participated, some in the women's only paring, some in the men's only pairing and one group in the co-ed division.
The RiverHawks return to the course on Saturday, Sept 22nd, as they host the Champions Challenge.
