The Umpqua Women's Basketball team travelled to Portland and came home with a 94-52 victory over the Panthers of Portland Community College. The first half ended with a 43-22 lead for the RiverHawks and the 2nd half was more of the same, as the RiverHawks ran away from the Panthers.
Dajanay Powell led five RiverHawks in double-figure scoring with 23 points and a team-high 14 rebounds. Taylor Stricklin added 19 points, Bria Thames had 17, Merrily Jones 11 points and Jordan Stotler added 10 points and 11 rebounds.
With the victory, the #1 ranked women's team moves to 16-0 on the year.
