RiverHawks Add North Medford Reno TOC Champion

Umpqua Community College Men's Wrestling Coach Kyle Temple has announced the signing of North Medford High School wrestler, Jullian Stone. Stone was 5th in the 2019 OSAA Class 6A State Championships. Stone won the Tyrone Woods Invitational, North Bend Coast Classic, Reno Tournament of Champions, Rogue Valley Championships, and the Southwest Conference Championships during his senior campaign en route to a 41-4 season record.

In 2018 Stone finished 3rd in the OSAA Class 6A State Championships at 220 pounds. Stone brings national level experience to the RiverHawk squad.

"Anytime you can snag up a wrestler that places in the Reno TOC, let alone wins it, you are doing something right", said coach Temple. "He knows how to compete on the highest stage. He will help to shore up our upper weight classes and gives us a real All-American threat right out of the gate. Jullian is a hard wrestler to score on and will look to be a 197 pounder for the RiverHawks next season. It's nice to keep Southern Oregon talent in the Southern Oregon area and Jullian will be a positive asset to our program right from the start."
