UCC Men's Wrestling coach Kyle Temple has announced the addition of Colby Blasdel from Chiawanna High School in Pasco, WA for the 2020/2021 season. Colby will wrestle heavyweight for the RiverHawks where he looks to build upon the success already established annually at that weight class for the RiverHawks. Colby was 6th in the WIAA 4A tournament as a junior and is currently ranked 4th in the state. Colby currently is 14-5 in his senior campaign while winning titles at the Farm City invitational, finishing 2nd at the winter cup, and 4th at Tri-State. "Colby brings a great work ethic and experience wrestling all over the nation seeking the best competition to the RiverHawk program", head coach Kyle Temple stated. "Colby will add a lot of depth to our upper weights and will battle it out with Jay DeFond for the starting spot this next season. I am excited that Colby chose us as his program to continue both wrestling and his education. We look forward to working with Colby and helping him to achieve his goals in wrestling and life."
