Umpqua RiverHawk Freshman McKenna Wilson (Coquille High School) was named the Southern Region and NWAC Defensive Player of the Week, for her play against Chemeketa and Clackamas Community Colleges. In the two matches, Wilson had a serve/receive efficiency of 2.65 and averaged 5.50 digs per set. The RiverHawks went 1-1, with a sweep over the defending NWAC Champion Chemeketa Storm. It is the 1st Player of the Week honor for Wilson.
