Trailing 2-0, the Umpqua Community College RiverHawk volleyball team battled back to defeat the Lakers of Southwestern Oregon Community College 3 games to 2.
The Lakers ripped off two victories, by the scores of 25-19 in each game.
The RiverHawks bounced back to take the third game 25-18 then rolled 25-21 and 15-7 to close out the match.
Shayla Limatoc led the RiverHawks with 11 kills on 27 attacks. Followed by McKenna Wilson with 10 kills. The RiverHawks finished with 80 digs on the night.
With the win, the RiverHawks move to 3-4 in Southern Region play.
