Molinero is a multi-sport athlete, participating in cross country, basketball, and track and field, as well as wrestling.

Along with being a standout athlete, Molinero is a Lulac Scholarship recipient and a member of the Alisal High School Health Academy and the Salinas First Teen Health Study Youth Advisory Board. In her spare time, she tutors and mentors students at two local elementary schools.
