Sheldon, from Kotzebue, Alaska, is a 3-time region champion and 2-time State Champion. She finished her senior season as the Alaska State Runner-Up. She was named the outstanding wrestler from 2014-16, was the 3-time Bush Brawl Champion and a member of the High School State Championship Team in 2014.

In addition to wrestling, Sheldon participated in cross country, cheer and the Native Youth Olympics. UCC Head Women’s Wrestling Coach Asia DeWeese had this to say about the signing of Sheldon, “Moira is a great addition to our program. She is a very experienced wrestler with a nice skill set. This, combined with her work ethic, will make her very successful at the college level.”
