Lizzete Ramos- Mujica is the latest signee for the Women's Wrestling program at Umpqua Community College. Ramos, from Stagg High School in Stockton, California, is coming off of a 7th Place finish in the California High School State Championships. She is also a 2-time SJAA League Champion, a 3-time Divisional Qualifier, a 4-time Masters Qualifier, and a 2-time State Championship Qualifier.
Ramos placed 4th at the Body Bar Nationals, was a 2018 Senior All-Star Dual Team Member, a 2018 Frank Gama Award Winner and a 2018 All-American.
Head Coach Asia DeWeese had this to say about the signing of Ramos, "Lizzete is a very physical, skilled wrestler. She is intense, driven and tenacious. We are thrilled to have her in our program."
