The Umpqua Community College Womne's Wrestling team finished in 2nd place at the prestigoues Oregon Classic Wrestling Tournament. The RiverHawks were paced by championship performances from Jade Piper (170) Tatum Pine (130) and Mariah Annis (123). Esthela Trevino placed 2nd at 101 lbs., while Grace Miller took 3rd at 143 lbs.
The RiverHawks narrowly finished behind Providence College, but above Eastern Oregon, Grays Harbor, SWOCC, Big Bend. Pacific Lutheran, the University of Washington and Warner Pacific University.
Piper ran her record to 18-4 with a championship victory over 5th ranked Ivory Ayers from Providence College. Pine and Annis each won their 1st tournaments of the year.
