Anderson finished 5th her freshman season in the NWAC Southern Region Championship, with a time of 20:08.6. She finished as the #2 runner for LCC, who were the 2016 Southern Region Team Champions. She is currently competing in track and field and was the #2 junior college finisher in the 5000 meters with at time of 18:57.38, at the Southern Oregon Raider Invitational.

Anderson was a multi-sport athlete at Roseburg High School, graduating with the Class of 2016. She was a two-time State Championship qualifier, as well as 1^st Team All-Conference and 1^st Team All-State.
