UCC Cross Country Races at Charles Bowles Invitational

The men finished with a score of 337 for 12th place of the 15 teams that contested full scoring teams. Leading the way for the third race in a row was Freshman Paesen Timm. Paesen's time of 27:33, crossed him in 79th placed. Finishing in the number two spot for the RiverHawks was Derek O'Connor with a time of 28:04 for 94th followed closely by Konrad Raum in 96th place in a time of 28:15. Completing the top five scorers were Jaime Meija-German (28:54/112th) and Tristan Wood (30:02/130th). "Our guys had a very solid day," said Coach King. "They all had personal best times and are really coming together." 

On the women's side, the RiverHawks finished in 11th of the 14 complete teams. Leading the way once again was Jasmine Lake. She crossed the line in 20:05 for 39th place. Finishing in the second and third spots for Jaesa Ruchti (20:29/52nd) and Savanna Waters (21:02/65th), with Laura Ekada (22:06/94th) and Rylee Parsons (22:31/109th) in the number four and five spots. The women ran real agressive from the start today and it backfired on us," said Coach King. "We tried a new tactic and learned some valuable information about our team."
