Logan Holmer, a native of Tina, Missouri, begins his coaching debut for Umpqua Community College as the Head Coach for the Obstacle Course Racing program. Holmer has also been hired on as an assistant for the track program by Head Coach, Alan King, and will be in charge of the jumping events.


Holmer, a Culver-Stockton College graduate ('16), holds the 3rd best mark for the Men's Outdoor High Jump with a jump of 6'9 3/4". Holmer was also a 4 time Heart of America Athletic Conference Champion as well as a 3 time NAIA National Qualifier in the High Jump. His final year at Culver-Stockton was with UCC's, Alan King. Holmer also competed with the Men's basketball program for 3 seasons.


Prior to his college career, Holmer competed in basketball and track and field at Tina-Avalon high school. While at Tina-Avalon, he was an All-State selection and Conference MVP in basketball and a district champion in 4x1 relay, 400 meter dash, long jump, and high jump. He was also a state qualifier in the 400 meter dash and long jump, and finished 2nd in the state in high jump twice.


Holmer graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics Education.
