Umpqua Community College Head Softball Coach, Jami Strinz has appointed Kyle Ludwig to serve as an Assistant Coach on her staff.

RiverHawks Softball will open play for the first time in school history during the 2024-25 academic year, joining the Northwest Athletic Conference in the highly competitive South Division.

Ludwig, a native of Salem, OR will focus primarily on the development of the catching staff, while supporting all other areas of growth for the program. Kyle also serves the Choir Director at Roseburg High School. His passion for teaching and learning and getting the best out of his athletes and students will be a tremendous asset to the UCC Softball program. 

Kyle currently resides Sutherlin, OR.
