Javier Cone, a senior from Las Vegas, NV, has signed with the Umpqua Community College Track and Field program. 

"Javier is a great kid that will add to the depth of our sprint crew," said Head Coach Alan King. "We are looking forward to Javier contributing to the team next year." Javier has personal bests of 23.47 in the 200m and 53.8 in the 400m. 

Javier is the son of Javier Cone SR and grandson of Queen Collins . When asked to comment, Javier said, "I am committing to UCC so that it will help further my education and athletics for the next level."

Ben Mabry, a senior from Bremerton, WA, has also signed with the Umpqua Community College Track and Field program.

"Ben has a personal best of 132-6 in the javelin throw with great potential for development," said Head Coach Alan King. "We look forward to having him on our team next year." 

Ben is the son of Jodi and Ed Looby. When asked to comment, Ben said, "I'm very excited for this life-changing experience."
