RiverHawk Wrestling Adds Local Athlete

The Umpqua Community College Men’s Wrestling program has announced the signing of Isaiah Lepre from Sutherlin High School in Sutherlin, Oregon. Lepre is a four-sport athlete that played football and baseball, as well as wrestling for the Bulldogs. Lepre placed 5 in the 4A District meet his senior year and is slated to compete at the 149 lb. division for the RiverHawks.

Head RiverHawk Men’s Wrestling Coach Kyle Temple has this to say about the addition of Lepre” Isaiah is a very hard-working, talented athlete. We are excited to have another local wrestler in our program for our first season back.”

The RiverHawk Men’s Wrestling program is returning to the Roseburg campus, after a long hiatus, this coming fall.

Umpqua’s Department of Athletics is composed of nine varsity sports teams including four men's teams (basketball, cross country, wrestling and obstacle course racing), and five women's teams (basketball, cross country, volleyball, wrestling and obstacle course racing).
