Umpqua Community College Men's Wrestling is please to announce the signing of Chase RJ Manski of El Dorado Hills, CA for the 2024-2025 Season. 

RJ attends Folsom High School (Folsom, CA) Despite having limited time as a Freshman and Sophomore he has chalked up quite the success in just one year.  As a Junior Chase "RJ" was ranked in the top 17 for the state of California at 120 pounds with a record of 44-11. He was the Conference Champion, 2nd at Divisionals then moving on to secure 4th place at the Sac-Joaquin Masters Tournament, punching his ticket to the State Tournament for 2023. RJ is a SCWAY Grade State Champion and a CAUSA Junior Folkstyle State Champion. He is also a Fargo National qualifier for Freestyle. 

RJ is currently ranked 13th in the state and is looking to build to his Wrestling resume before moving to Roseburg to compete for the RiverHawks.

Director of Wrestling Anthony Weerheim has this to say about the signing of Manski, "We are super excited about adding RJ to our growing roster for the 2024-25 season. I have had the privilege to watch him compete in person and feel very confident that he will have a huge impact on our team. I am excited to see his growth over this next year and the growth to follow."
