Lauren Tennyson-Dean, originally from Troutdale, Oregon, is a dedicated coach with a lifelong passion for volleyball. Her collegiate playing career began at Clackamas Community College, where she competed in the 2015 and 2016 seasons before transferring to Warner Pacific University for the 2017 and 2018 seasons. Her love for the game naturally transitioned into coaching, a journey she began in 2016.

Over the years, Lauren has coached at several clubs, including RISE Volleyball Club, Live Aloha Volleyball Academy, and NW Elite Volleyball Club. From 2021 to 2023, she also coached at Sutherlin High School. Lauren holds both a bachelor's and master's degree in education and taught 5th grade in the Sutherlin School District from 2020 to 2023.

Currently, Lauren works at Aviva Health while continuing to pursue her love of volleyball through coaching. She is thrilled to take on this new chapter in her coaching journey, excited about the potential of the program and the opportunity to build a team of student-athletes who share her competitive spirit and passion for the game. Outside of volleyball, Lauren enjoys spending time with her husband, Jared Dean, and their Australian cattle dog, Wiley.
