Kaya is from Hawai'i she came here to Umpqua to compete in Wrestling, Cross Country, and Track.  In high school Kaya had some great success as well in her athletic endeavors.  In track, her team finished in 2 place in southern regionals.  Individually in High School she also earned 4th place in wrestling.  Educationally while here at Umpqua she plans on pursuing a career as a Police Officer or as (DLNR) Department of Conservation and Resource Officer.  Some of the other Interests that Kaya has include, hunting, fishing, helping people and watching Netflix. Some of the people that kaya admires include, her HS cross country coach as well as professional athletes, Garret Fisher and Tua Tagovailoa.
