Gerster, a Sutherlin native has participated in cheer while at Sutherlin HS, as well as being a four year member of the Future Farmers of America program (FFA). Gerstner grew up and works on a ranch, and he is excited about transitioning the work it takes to maintain a ranch into the athletic field.

UCC Head Men’s Obstacle Course Racing Coach Andrea Bowden has this to say about the signing of Gerstner, “Patrick has a great work ethic and is excited to show it manifest itself on the obstacle course. We are looking forward to him joining our program.”
