Grant was a multi-sport athlete in high school participating in cross-country, wrestling, and basketball. 

In wrestling he was a member of the district championship team his junior and senior years.  He placed in the top 5 in state for his weight class in both years. 

Grant competes in both cross-country and wrestling for UCC.
