Whitmore Signs to Corban

Jenna Whitmore signed her commitment to Corban University to join them and continue her education and athletic career, through Beach Volleyball, in Fall 2023.

Whitmore, a captain for the Hawks, earned her way to the top of UCC's record books and NWAC standings. Among her achievements, she ended the 2022 season ranked in the top 50 athletes in 8/15 statistical categories while seeing 3 different positions throughout the season. Although Jenna will be joining the Warriors in the sand to complete her eductaion, her indoor accolades will carry her just as far outdoors. For a full list of accolades, please see below.

Corban University is a NAIA school located in Salem, OR and competes in the Cal Pac Conference (CCC). Last season the Warriors ended their season 22-6, finishing 2nd in the Cal Pac Conference which allowed them to advance to be the NAIA Beach Volleyball National Invitational Runner-Up. Previous year post-season appearances include: 2021 AVCA National Championships 4th place, 2022 Cal Pac Conference Tournament Runner-Up, 2022 AVCA National Championships Silver Bracket Champions, and 2022 NAIA Beach Volleyball National Invitational Champions.

Coach Roberts comments, "Jenna filled some big shoes for us this year as our captain, lead blocker, and utlitity player. She has the ability to truly make a difference on the court, no matter what position she is in because of her tenacious, kind, and hard-working spirit. It was a pleasure having Jenna in our volleyball family, but we are excited to see how she thrives with the Warriors."
