Hollingshead Named South Region Defensive Player of the Year

Victoria Hollingshead has been named to the NWAC South Region First Team and Defensive Player of the Year after the regular season.
During the 2022-23 season, she has had 64 blocks, 328 rebounds, 49 steals, and 430 points. She is ranked 1st in blocks, 4th in rebounds, and 6th in points this year. She is 5th in rebounds/game, 5th in blocks/game, and 9th in points/game. Tori recorded a career high of 7 blocks in the home game against Clackamas on February 4th. On February 1st, she recorded a career high of 20 rebounds against Lane at home. She scored a career high of 30 points early in the season against Multnomah JV on December 7th, and has scored 20+ points in 11 of 26 games played this year. 

The RiverHawks are ranked 3rd in the South Region as they head into the NWAC Playoffs. In the first round of the Sweet 16 they will take on Shoreline (North #2) on Wednesday, March 8th at 4:00pm. All NWAC Championship games will be hosted at Columbia Basin College in Pasco, WA.
