Umpqua Community College Track and Field is excited to announce the signing of Triangle Lake High School teammates, Carver Beck and Parker Wynn. Beck and Wynn are three-sport athletes that have received All-Conference honors in football, basketball and track and field, as well as being members of the 2017 OSAA State Champion football team and 2-time District Champion Basketball team.
Beck placed in the 1A OSAA State Championship in the Triple Jump, High Jump, Shot Put and 4 x 400 relay, while Wynn placed 3rd in the 400 meters and 3rd in the 400 x 400 meter relay. Triangle Lake finished 4th in the team standings.
Head Track and Field Coach Alan King had this to say about the signing of the Triangle Lake teammates, "Parker and Carver are very talented, multi-sport athletes. They have very big upsides with the possibility to see huge improvements on the track. They will provide a significant amount of depth to our program."
Wynn will also be a member of the RiverHawks Men's Basketball Program.
