The UCC Women's Wrestling team traveled with a smaller group to the Spokane Open, but still found some success as one RiverHawk placed 4th in her weight class.

At the 170 weight class, Jade Piper went up against Lena Flanagan (Pacific Lutheran University) and won by fall at 5:38. Piper went on in round two and faced Rebekah Trudel (Simon Fraser) but came to a loss. In her third round, Piper won by TF 10-0 to Tristyn Borden (Southern Oregon University). The win in round three, put Piper into the fight for 3rd or 4th place, she came home with 4th overall after a loss to Ivory Ayers (University of Providence) by fall at 3:00.
