Umpqua Women's Wrestling is excited to announce the signing of Ezzery Shelley of Lodi High School in Lodi, California.
Shelley is a two-time TCAL Champion, two-time Regional 3rd place finisher and 7th place finisher at Masters. She is a four-year varsity wrestler and long-time participant in cheer.
RiverHawk Head Wrestling Coach Craig Jackson had this to say about the addition of Shelley," Ezzery is a veteran wrestler with a high ceiling. We are looking forward to her being able to concentrate on free-style and seeing how good she can become." Shelley is the 15th freshman to join the RiverHawsk this off-season.
The Umpqua Community College Women's team is in its 3rd year of existence and finished as the Top-Ranked Community College program in the country. The RiverHawks placed 2nd in the NWCA National Championships, and 8th in the WCWA National Championships. They had 10 All-American placers and 3 National Champions during the 2019-20 season
