Cody Jones, a transfer from Southern Oregon University, is set to begin competing for the UCC RiverHawks in Obstacle Course Racing. Jones, a Dallas High School graduate, played football, baseball and wrestled for the Dragons. He continued his wrestling career at Southern Oregon University, before coming to Umpqua.

Jones has participated in a few obstacle course races, including the Terrain Race and is excited about joining the program. Umpqua OCR Coach Andrea Bowden had this to say about the signing of Jones, "We are thrilled to add Cody to our program. He is an outstanding athlete and will add tremendously to our team."
