RiverHawks Beat Clackamas

The Umpqua RiverHawk Women's Basketball team had a four point lead at halftime and used staunch defense to run away from the visiting Cougars of Clackamas Community College by the final score of 95-73.

Leading just 52-48 at the half, the RiverHawks came out and out-scored the Cougars 22-12 in the third quarter and stretched their lead to as many as 22 points, with under a minute to play in the game.

Darian Mitchell led the RiverHawks in scoring with 27 points to go with her 13 rebounds. Taylor Stricklin finished with 26 points, followed by Sienna Riggle with 13 and Lexi Woodard with 10 points.
