The Umpqua Community College Women's Basketball Team kept themselves in a tie for 1st place by avenging their only league loss of the season by beating the Mt. Hood Saints 78-70.
The RiverHawks starting out by claiming a 39-28 lead at the half and expanding the lead to as high as 21 points with 7:05 left to go in the game.
Taylor Stricklin led the RiverHawks with 25 points, followed by Cielo Gonzalez with 18 points and 9 assists and Darian Mitchell with 17 points and 19 rebounds.
