The Umpqua RiverHawks defeated the Blazers of Centrailia College, three games to one.

The RiverHawks were led on the night by sophomore Margaret Anderson who tallied 15 kills with just 2 errors, hitting a robust .520. Sophomore Felicia Sparks and Emma Lind chipped in with 8 and 7 kills each.

Madison Becker lead the Hawks with 14 assists and sophomore Dominque Wenzler-Steves was a force at the net with 4 solo and 4 assisted blocks.

The RiverHawks dropped the first game 26-24 but came back to win the next 3 by scores of 25-17, 29-27 and 25-16. With the win UCC moves to 3-4 on the early season. The continue preseason play today, when they face Pierce College and Gray Harbor College.
