Morgyn Asplund from Hudson's Bay High School in Vancouver, Washington, has signed a letter of intent to play volleyball for the Umpqua Community College RiverHawks.

Asplund was named Honorable Mention All-Conference in 2017 and was named as her team's Defensive Player of the Year.

Head Volleyball Coach Lacy Pinard had this to say about her signing,"Morgyn will be a strong defensive asset to the Riverhawks.  She has a great set of hands to run her court but her communication and abilities to touch every ball for her team are what makes her a standout.  We are excited to see her development this upcoming season!"
