Freshman Defensive Specialist Rachelle Persson (Mt. Edgecomb High School) was named the NWAC Southern Region Defensive Player of the Week for Week #11 She received this honor for her effort in the match versus Lane Community Colleges. She had 23 digs in the four games, as well as a 2.57 serve/receive efficiency. This is the first time that Persson has received this honor this season.
