Riverhawk Women's Basketball Coach Dave Stricklin was named the Northwest Athletic Conference Coach of the Year, as well as being a finalist for the 2020 United States Marine Corps/WBCA Two-Year College National Coach of the Year Award! 

Stricklin's 2019-20 squad was one of his best ever while racking up a 29-0 record and was ranked #1 the entire season. A two-time NWAC champion coach in 1997 & 2000 (runner-up 2014, 2018 & 2019), Stricklin had the team fine-tuned to make their third consecutive title game. The Riverhawks led the conference in scoring with 84 points per game, while allowing only 58.1 points per game. This is Stricklin's third NWAC Coach of the Year honor.
