UCC Men's Wrestling has announced the signing of local Roseburg High School product Archer Bergeron. Archer was a 4 time state placer for Roseburg High School and helped lead the team to 3 OSAA 6A state titles and one runner up finish during his four years. Archer is projected to wrestle 149 or 157 pounds for the RiverHawks next season. When asked about Bergeron, Coach Temple had the following to say: "I am excited to have Archer joining the RiverHawks next season. I have known Archer for several years and gotten to witness his growth as a wrestler and a leader. Archer will lead by example trying to outwork his teammates in every drill and then carry that same attitude into competition. Archer does not know the meaning of slowing down. He will push the pace, maintain great position, and force his opponents into making mistakes and then he capitalizes on those opportunities. Archer is an outstanding student in the classroom and will help lead our team next year with his poise and work ethic."
