Umpqua Community College Men's Wrestling sign Timmy Gammett and Anthony Thomas for the 2023-24 season. 

Timmy Gammett of Kotzebue, Alaska (Kotzebue High School) - Some Tournaments Gammet performed well in are: Nome Tournament 1st place - Lancer Smith 4th place - He punched his ticket to the State Tournament by finishing second in the Region and capped his Senior year off with a 3rd place finish at the Alaska State Tournament.

Anthony Thomas of Salem, OR (McNary High School) is a 4 year varsity Starter in high school. Thomas is a District placer and State Qualifier. 

Director of Wrestling Anthony Weerheim says, " We are very excited about how this recruiting season has gone. With only four returners we were looking to pick up guys in every weight class during this off-season. We have done just that. With the addition of Gammett and Thomas we are now a fully stocked team with at least two guys in each weight class. Thomas will bring more depth to our lighter weights and Gammett is bringing some much needed depth for our bigger guys. We are excited to get this season underway and see how this newly built team performs."
