Trinity Kampstra was named the South Region Offensive Player of the Week Award for Week 1 for her opening weekend performance. They competed at the Red Devil Red Robin Tournament against Centralia, Clackamas, Mt. Hood, and Lower Columbia. During 4 matches (14 sets) Kampstra lead her team in offense hitting an average .275 with 39 kills. She tallied 10 total blocks over the 4 matches (6 of them being solo) and had 2 matches where she hit over a .310.

"Trinity was a consistent go-to hitter for us this weekend. She scored an average of 15% of our total points for us and when she wasn't getting the kill herself, she was pulling blockers to open up options for our other hitters.
