RiverHawks sign former UCC player and local standout, Abby Whipple to return to finish out her 2nd year of NWAC competition.

Whipple had her first season with the RiverHawks in 2020 where she 

Before UCC, Whipple played for North Douglas High School getting plenty of accolades along the way including Skyline League Co-Player of the Year and 1A All-State 1st team her senior year, leading her team to a 1st place league finish, followed by a 5th place state finish.

"Abby is a great addition for us. I have had the chance to see her play in a competitive environment and I have no doubt that she can help our team. She has a great work ethic, she's a great athlete and teammate and she will be a great leader for us this year. COVID was hard on everyone, but I'm glad theat we are able to give her the opportunity to put a jersey back on and finish what she started!" says Coach Roberts.
