UCC Volleyball Hosts 1st Annual All-Star Game

UCC Volleyball Hosts 1st Annual All-Star Game

Tonight the UCC gym was filled with senior volleyball all-stars from around Douglas County. Those invited suited up in UCC jerseys to play a competitive game with some of the best talent in the area.

Coach Roberts comments, "I grew up in an area that had all-star games for multiple sports. It's an honor to be able to start one in this area. It doesn't matter if you're from a big or small school or if you went to state or not. We get a chance to bring the most talented seniors in Douglas County and showcase them for the community to see."

Although there were some injuries that kept the teams small this year, the game was competitive, fun, and was highly enjoyed by both the crowd and the players.
