Mya Vigil from Mora High School in New Mexico has signed with RiverHawk Track & Field and Cross Country! She'll be the first RiverHawk from New Mexico for our team.
Mya is coming off a stellar senior year as the state champion in the 300m hurdles (she went undefeated in the event all season). Not only will she be a threat in the long hurdles for us, but she's quite the versatile athlete as a multi-time state placer in high jump and long jump.
She's qualified for state 12x in track and field and placed 6x. She will also compete in cross country this fall, where she's been a state qualifier 3x during her high school career.
We look forward to having Mya's versatile range as an athlete no our team this upcoming year!
