Umpqua Community College Women’s Wrestling program has announced the signing of Ray-lyn Albino-Kaupu. Albino Kaupu, a Hilo, Hawaii native, comes from Kamehameha High School in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Albino-Kaupu was a State Tournament qualifier as a senior, going 16-4 and helping her team to a 2nd place finish at the 2017 Hawaii State Championship. Her team won the HHSAA State Championship in 2016.

Head RiverHawk Women’s Wrestling Coach Asia DeWeese has this to say about the addition of Albino-Kaupu,”Ray-lyn comes from an outstanding women’s wrestling program and we are excited to add someone with her experience to our new program. She has the potential to improve and contribute in many ways to our team.”
