RiverHawk Cross Country Welcomes Roseburg Runner

Umpqua Community College Women’s Cross Country would is excited to announce the signing of Rachael Brock, a 2016 graduate of Roseburg High School. Brock participated in both cross country and track and field during her time at Roseburg High School. She will be joining former Roseburg teammates Jenna Anderson and Emma Jaworski on next years’ team.

Head Cross Country Coach CJ Kozlowski has this to say about the signing of Brock, “It is always great to be able to add a local runner to your roster. We are looking forward to the talents that Rachael will bring to our program and the depth that she provide our team.”

The Umpqua Cross Country team has been brought back to the Roseburg, Oregon campus, and will begin competition in the fall of 2017.

Umpqua’s Department of Athletics is composed of nine varsity sports teams including four men's teams (basketball, cross country, wrestling and obstacle course racing), and five women's teams (basketball, cross country, volleyball, wrestling and obstacle course racing). Umpqua is a member of the Northwest Athletic Conference in all sports except men’s and women’s wrestling and obstacle course racing. For men’s wrestling UCC belongs to the National Junior College Athletic Association and for women’s wrestling, the Women’s Collegiate Wrestling Association.
