RiverHawks Sign Local Standout, Layla Pappas

RiverHawks sign Layla Pappas to add to their 2024 roster.

Pappas, from Roseburg, OR (Umpqua Valley Christian High School), is a 3-year letter winner who helped her team to the successes they had during the 2017-2019 seasons in the Skyline Conference. After graduating, Layla chose to pursue a career. Along with this success and experience, she found volleyball again, and decided to try to pursue her other dream of playing college volleyball. 

Throughout her high school career, Pappas received many accolades (shown below) to represent her skills and leadership on the court and in the classroom.

"Layla has the determination we want on our team. Her journey hasn't been ordinary but we are so grateful it led her to us. She will be a change-maker on our team next season as a player, teammate, leader, and reformer. We are more than happy to welcome Layla to the Family!" says Coach Roberts.
